These daffodils at the Homeowner’s cabin are a tough bunch. Despite numerous April/May snowstorms, they’ve managed to survive and flourish. Last week Telluride received over a foot of snow… this week it’s all sun, green aspen leaves and yellow dandelions dotting the landscape. The white faced peaks juxtaposed against the green valleys and mesas below is truly stunning.
In a few weeks time, spring will become summer. We are busy preparing for the upcoming season of outdoor activities: getting the water systems up and running, clearing the trails of winter tree fall, setting up the tennis court, landscaping the cabin grounds, and grading/dust controlling the roads.
The slideshow below depicts the varying “faces” of spring and some of our summer preparation projects.
