One of the wonderful things at Gray Head is the community of home owners. The focal point of this community are gatherings and meetings at the restored homestead cabin. This rustic yet elegant building was constructed in 1882, lived in by the Von Trapp family, and now hosts a myriad of great functions at Gray Head. We wish everyone could have been in town for the annual New Year's Eve Ice Skating party! Once again chili, tapas, ice skating, great conversation, fireworks, the torchlight parade, and champagne (or vodka) were a fine way to bring in the New Year. Rather than deal with the preparation and clean up of hosting an evening at your home why not use the homeowner cabin for your next party. Holiday evenings book up early so please let us know if you would like to reserve the cabin for a party, bbq after tennis or fishing, or a romantic catered dinner.
