Every season is worth celebrating in our region of the San Juan mountains. But summer might receive the loudest cheer. Festivals, wildflowers, parades & fireworks, Farmer’s market, sweet Olathe corn, rainbows, mushroom foraging, fishing, hiking up to high places… to name just a few of the season’s many splendors.
Summer is also a wonderful time to gather at the Homeowner’s Cabin in Gray Head. Which is what we did on July 3rd… this slideshow captures images from our 3rd Annual GHPOA meeting and BBQ.
Summer in Gray Head is also the time to hike our many trails, play tennis on our newly resurfaced court, practice your flyfishing at the cabin pond, grab a frisbee or soccer ball and toss & kick them around our lawns and recreation field, enjoy cocktail hour on the cabin porch… all right out the door.
When venturing out of Gray Head, there’s lots more to see and do in this beautiful Telluride region, one of the most spectacular places on earth!
Enjoy and Cheers to Summer!!
