Images of Fall

Summer officially ended over a month ago but that did not stop the fun and celebrations in Gray Head!

Ralph Booth and Susan Ransopher decided they wanted more than just a ceremony and reception to celebrate their union… the fun began with a softball game, the Huckelberries vs. the Sophisticates, unnamed-8 played on “Gray Head Field”.  Complete with hot dog stand, cracker jacks, popcorn, beer & margaritas. Great fun and perfect conditions… a grand slam!

After the game, the wedding guests took off their baseball jerseys and donned their “Wild West” costumes for a lively dinner party at the New Sheridan Chop House.

But all that playing and partying was just a warmup to the main event: the wedding ceremony. unnamed

Mother nature must have been watching (and caring)… not a drop of rain until the last guest was safely under the reception tent… then the thunder & lightning show began! as did the dancing & celebrating!!! Congratulations .

The colors of fall gave us another reason to celebrate. They provided a spectacular show, once again.

unnamed-1As fall moves into winter, there is a prevailing quite and stillness in the air… a calm before the storm(s)? Let’s hope so!

Until then, enjoy this special time between the energy and activities of summer and the holidays and festivities of winter. Cheers!
